ONLINE ETHICAL CLEARANCE APPLICATION: CLOSED

The South African San Council continuously works on protecting the San people from exploitation. Specific systems are implemented to protect the communities and their knowledge. Anyone wishing to research the San communities will be required to go through the ethical clearance process.

How does it work?

Each researcher must complete an Ethical Clearance Application (online or .pdf).

Once the application is completed and reaches the San Council office, the application will be carefully reviewed. 

The outcomes of the applications will be communicated to the researcher AFTER 31 AUGUST 2024.
